Will my probation be revoked if I am facing charges with theft? 1 Answers as of August 09, 2011

If someone's on probation for DUI but now faces charges for theft by taking (felony) and either battery or aggravated battery (not sure which, yet), will their probation be revoked? I know it's ultimately up to the Judge but I'm wondering what you've seen happen in similar situations. No criminal history before the DUI. How much of the probation would you guess would be revoked, if any.

We recommend you retain a criminal defense attorney ASAP because, while no one can predict what a judge will do, you potentially and realistically face probatiopn revocation, in addition to your new sentence. Good luck.
