Will my 3rd degree felony get reduced for unemployment fraud? 1 Answers as of September 05, 2012

I was recently charged with a 3rd degree felony for unemployment fraud, and I am pretty scared about going to jail. I have never been in trouble before in my life. Will I go to jail? is there a good chance this will be reduced?

This is impossible to answer without knowing more facts. It is certainly legally permissible for it to be reduced but only with the consent of the DA. That will depend on your prior history, the facts in your case, the amount of benefits received, whether you are making restitution to the government and the experience and skill of your defense attorney.
