Will I pay spousal support in New Hampshire once our divorce is finalized because I make more money? 1 Answers as of January 06, 2011

I have been separated, though not legally, from my wife for over 18 months. I do not ask for child support for our three kids, who live with me, and in return she pays for daycare every week for our daughter, which comes out to about $175 a week. We try to share custody, and because of that, we are both on good terms. Will I have to be the one to pay for spousal support, because she does not make as much as I do? What can I do to keep getting help?

Only if she requests alimony will you potentially be ordered to pay.
