Will I lose money if I give my mortgage company payments for the debt I owe? 1 Answers as of August 05, 2011

My mortgage company has yet to file, but said they were going to try to lift the stay of relief. They said they won't accept any payment, however, I have the funds to cover the debt. Should I send it in anyway or will I likely lose the money and they will still file?

If you have the funds to cover the debt, I would speak to someone regarding the resolution of the loan before I sent any funds in. You should get everything ion writing and make sure you get confirmation that the matter is satisfied in full.
