Will I have to pay out the claim if I file for bankruptcy? 1 Answers as of August 11, 2010

I was in an auto accident that was my fault. I was unable to pay the insurance company and the claim of the other driver could not be processed. Now I am being sued for a sum of money that I cannot possibly pay. A family friend who is a lawyer said that if I file for bankruptcy then we will not be forced to pay the claim. I am running out of options, what should I do?

It is probably good advice. It seems likely that filing for bankruptcy may mean that you do not have to pay out on the claim. Contact me to ensure that this is your best option.
