I recently moved to North Carolina from Indiana. My driver's license, I found, was suspended because of a traffic ticket that was not paid. The ticket was a minor violation for expired tags when I was on my way to renew the plates. I honestly forgot about the ticket because of several things that were going on in my life at that time. The ticket was issued approximately 4 years ago, and I have not been able to pay it. Can North Carolina BMV refuse to allow me to gain my driver's license with my Indiana driver's license suspended?
