Will I be deported if my charges were dropped nolle prosequi? Posted on May 29, 2011

I was arrested for shoplifting theft (Felony D) in Indiana. Court reduced the charge to misdemeanor. I agreed to a pretrial diversion agreement. After completing it, charges were dropped-nolle prosequi. My questions are: 1. Am I convicted under immigration law? I did not sign any papers pleading guilty. Neither did the diversion agreement require admission of guilt. 2. My interview is over. I answered all questions honestly, but my case has been put under "Administrative procedure". It was NOT marked as refused, just checked as administrative procedure. Why? How long does this procedure take? 3. Will I need a waiver?
