A lot depends on whether you have a bad criminal history, and the location of your court, in addition to the amount of goods (value) stolen by you, and the manner in which you obtained the goods. I would strongly suggest hiring a criminal defense attorney for this case, as you could be facing some significant time in prison if convicted, and without the benefit of counsel. If in the area, you could discuss the matter with me by phone, for possible representation and advice.
