You should first, pay the fine on the ticket, and get to the secretary of state's office with a certified receipt, and pay the reinstatement fee to the S. of S. Go to court with your license, they may drop the ticket. Depending on your driving record, you will probably be facing a fine and supervision for a first offense. However, if you have priors, you could be jailed up to a year and fined up to 2500 dollars. It is always best to take this matter seriously, and hire an attorney to represent you.
