What should I expect to happen in the future for termination due to suspicion of child abuse? Posted on August 08, 2011
On 8/4/2011, I was discharged from my job as a child care teacher because a co-worker told my supervisor that she saw me hit a child. My supervisor said the incident occurred weeks ago. The co-worker only came forward when we were told, in a staff meeting, that if we saw anyone breaking policy to come forward and tell or else we would suffer the same 'punishment' the offender would get (if that makes sense). I don't know what to do or expect.
