I received a 23222(b) and the ticker says it's a infraction. I only had about a gram of pot on me. I have a court date and I'm on formal probation but the lowest level of it you can be on. I don't check in with a PO or write in either. What should I expect at court, what should I do?

I sure hope you have a doctor's recommendation as VC 23222 is covered. But if you are on court (informal) probation they could revoke you. Get a lawyer.

It is an infraction, but can trigger a violation of probation. If so, request a court appointed attorney. The infraction is simply a $100 ticket, but the probation exposure is based on whatever your underlying charges were, to which you can now be sentenced.

This is an infraction ticket and is treated like a speeding ticket. You will have a fine to pay but you can contest the matter at a bench trial.

Hire a lawyer to get the infraction dismissed. Sometimes this involves the lawyer working out a deal with the Judge where you do some classes.
