What should I do about an out of state motion to dismiss letter? Posted on July 22, 2011I moved from IL to Kansas 3 months ago and received a motion to dismiss without prejudice letter. It was about a debt, but this is the 1st thing I have received. Why would they motion to dismiss? Do I have to go back to IL for the case? I heard I should motion to dismiss with prejudice, but could that backfire?
