What questions will they ask during an immigration interview? 2 Answers as of February 23, 2011

I am an American Citizen, older than 21 and I am going to file for my mother's green card. I would like to know, what kind of questions does the immigration officer ask during the interview? My mother is 72 years old and she doesn't speak English. Thank you.

In contrast to the interviews for married couples, the questions are very limited. Either she is your mother, or she is not. There may be some question regarding how she will be supported, at her age and with her limited English. You need to register for an INFOPASS to find out whether USCIS will have a translator or if you must hire your own.
