What is the penalty for distrubution of a controlled substance in a military base? 1 Answers as of January 30, 2012
I admitted to giving a friend two klodipin because he said he was on the same dose as me then he stole the bottle out of my truck. I thought I threw them away. Two months later he overdosed on them. The military police are charging me with distribution of a controlled substance. This is my first drug charge. I want to know what the penalties are and what your opinion is on what the judge will give me.Free Case Evaluation by a Local Lawyer!

The penalty depends upon his prior criminal history coupled with the severity level of the crime charged. The sentence grids are different if the crime is charged in State court or Federal court so you need to know these variables before a range of sentence can be determined.
