What is the outcome of selling ecstacy to a drug informant? 2 Answers as of June 30, 2011

My son is pending drug related charges for selling 2 ecstasy pills to a police informant. What could be the outcome of such offense? He was 20 yrs old at the time this occurred. It's been nearly a year; he has not had his date in court. Is it possible to be given a conditional discharge in such a case?

It really depends on the jurisdiction. Some are much harsher than others.

I would recommend that you retain and sit down with your own criminal attorney and discuss all his rights and options, based upon all the facts. But no one can predict what a court will do. Good luck!
