What if you have retail theft but didn't get arrested just paid fines how do you get it off the record? 2 Answers as of February 05, 2014

This was in Wal-Mart in PA like 2011 I think. I wasn't arrested I just had to pay fines and they told me it was only going to be a traffic violation and I didn’t get convicted of anything it’s been like 3 years since then and I haven't done it since and that's the only thing on my record. When I applied for a few jobs they said they found something in my background and that's the only thing because I have never been in any other trouble.

I am guessing you plea bargained down to a summary, like a DC. Summary offenses cannot be expunged until you make 5 years of arrest free behavior.
