What happens if I do not submit a final accounting? Posted on April 17, 2011

My wife, an NYC resident, was on Medicaid. I was a co-trustee of a supplemental need trust for her benefit. (A self-funded trust). She passed away 10 months ago. So far, I did not submit a final accounting. This is a "pay back" trust. Some expenses were paid after a death by the trust. What are the legal ramifications against me if I will not submit a final accounting? Where can I find rulings about final accounting and pay back ,if it is more than the assets of the trust?
