I would have to see a copy of the lease. Normally you would lose your security deposit.

Well nothing criminal. This really is not a criminal defense question but, if you did not have a valid reason for breaking the agreement with your landlord you will be responsible for the 3 months remaining but it would be in a small claims civil suit in all likelihood.
