A year or longer to file charges, depending upon what they file, which in this case could include Assault on a Police Officer with a Deadly Weapon, Attempted Homicide, or a whole range of lesser charges. He also faces likely probation/parole violation and revocation. His conduct is likely to have painful consequences. If he is serious about hiring counsel, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
