Because your wife is a US citizen and because you entered on a visa, you are most likely eligible to adjust your status. She will need to file an I-130 petition on your behalf and you will need to file an I-485 application to get your permanent residence here in the United States. This can all be done while you remain in the United States.

Your wife can file a visa petition (form I-130) for you and you can file an application to adjust status (form I0485) at the same time. Numerous documents must accompany the filings, so you should meet with an immigration attorney.
