What can we do regarding rental units that had plumbing problems? Posted on April 23, 2011
My rental company hired a plumber to come and fix a toilet that was clogged up, the plumber said he found a hair clip of some sort in the toilet. The rental company said it was because of my neglect or one of my kids that caused the problem and told me I was responsible for the bill of $170.00. I haven't paid the bill, and just received a letter that they are charging interest daily, and now the bill is over $500.00 and needs to be taken care of soon. Can they do that?
