What can we do regarding a Lease Agreement Break? Posted on April 01, 2011Our lease says that we have to give at least 60 day written notice that we are going to break the lease. When giving notice, the landlord claims that we will still be legally required to pay the rest of the lease until September, even with the notice. The lease says nothing about finishing the lease if moving out early. I have a digital copy of the entire lease. Is there anyway around this?
