What can we do if my daughter's medical condition was shared with students by a teacher? Posted on May 27, 2011

In school yesterday my daughter was probably talking out of turn and her teacher said "I know you have ADHD, but" My daughter, who is 10, was mortified and was teased by some of the kids the rest of the afternoon. She refused to go to school today. We have told no one of her condition except her teacher and nurse and one family member. I know this doesn't fall under HIPPA but this is a private medical issue-what sort of recourse do we have?
