What can we do if a brick was thrown at our car? 1 Answers as of June 27, 2011
My daughter was a passenger, along for a trip to the Pediatrician for her newborn. Her fiance driving down, when someone in a moving Jeep threw a brick at her van, hitting it in the windshield. The windshield was not broken. My daughter was able to get the license plate of the Jeep. Thankfully, no one was hurt. What charges can be pressed on the offender? What is the charge for throwing a brick at a moving vehicle in Pa.?

It is assault and the driver who threw the brick could face serious consequences. I would contact the police to file charges and then obtain the other driver's insurance to pay for the replacement of the windshield.
