What can I do if my final paycheck from my previous employer bounced? 1 Answers as of July 19, 2011
My final paycheck from my previous employer bounced. He told me he closed that account, and I would have to get in line to collect, and he didn't have a time frame. Should I take him or the company to small claims? Also, if the company closes its doors, is it a no win? Is it even worth it?

File a claim with the Labor Board. The owner will be personally responsible for payment. You can also seek penalties for each day the wages remain unpaid up to 30 days.
