What can I do if I have been accused of employment fraud? Posted on July 14, 2011

I was drawing unemployment and I couldn't find a job so as my unemployment was about the run out I started a business. For the last two weeks in April and the first week in May credit card sales were deposited into my personal account because I didn't have my business account set up yet. The unemployment office thinks these deposits are wages when in fact they are sales. I have never taken any income from the business because it operates at a loss. I did not commit fraud and I didn't claim this amount of money because it wasn't "wages" as they are claiming. Is there any way I can defend myself against this? Any advice would be appreciated.
