What are the Stipulations of Granting Short Term Guardianship of a Minor? Posted on June 07, 2011

I want to give short term guardianship of my 16 year old daughter to my 27 year old daughter. I am moving out of state and my 16 year old refuses to leave plus my 27 year old can't really survive on her own without my 16 year old there to assist her with childcare. Does NJ have a max length of time that a short term guardianship can be given or can I make it for 2 years? If it only allows 90 days can I renew it after it expires? I want the 27 year old to be able to enroll her for school, authorize medical etc.
