What are my options if I change my mind about a loan? 3 Answers as of August 03, 2011

I started an LLC in 08 and never even started the business due to personal issues. I just found out that I owe 3,000. I know I tried canceling the llc awhile back and according to the lady I talked to at the secretary of state, everything was taken care of. My registered agent sent me a bill and told me my llc was still active so I called FTB and they told me I owe over 3000 dollars. With my very heavy student loans there is no way of paying this amount off and I'm looking at my options.

You can file bankruptcy.... but it will not help you with the student loans. It will get rid of the secretary of state.
