I am a salaried employee of a medium sized non-profit organization in Minneapolis. After 5 months of employment, my employer on 5/20/11 informed me that I have received 3 direct-deposit paychecks that were twice my normal rate. They have acknowledged that this is an oversight on their part. They stated that they are now going to reduce my salary by approximately 30% to repay the overage. This 30% deduction will be in effect from 5/15/11 - 12/31/11. I have not signed anything that addresses this issue. What are my rights?
