What am I obligated to do after I was cited for criminal mischief? 1 Answers as of January 06, 2012
I was recently cited for criminal mischief and was wondering why I would need to go to our local police barracks for fingerprinting. Am I obligated to give them my fingerprints? I thought criminal mischief was just a misdemeanor? How long will it stay on my record and what will if prevent me from doing with it on my record?Free Case Evaluation by a Local Lawyer!

One must be fingerprinted and photographed for all indictable offenses, Misdemeanors, and Felonies. A conviction for either of these will "stay on your record." So hire counsel a.s.a.p. to minimize the possible effect on future job search and educational pursuit.
