Should we have been notified of the lien? 3 Answers as of August 27, 2010

Is it possible for a lien to be put on a property without the owner knowing? This is what happened to me. Do I need a lawyer to stop it?

You should receive a notice from the county recorder when a lien is recorded against your property.

The amount of the lien is important.

You probably do need a lawyer to have the lien removed, if removal is appropriate. For specific advice about the facts of your case, call me.
