I want to know if I can get a felony drug offense expunged, I was told I couldn’t because of prior misdemeanor offenses.

In Ohio, unless the misdemeanors were part of the same conduct as the felony, then you are correct. Unfortunately, as the law currently stands, courts can not seal a case where there are multiple convictions. However, there have been numerous proposals in the Ohio General Assembly to change the expungement statutes, so I would suggest that you call or write your state senator/representative and encourage them to support amending the law.
