Is it legal to be charged a fuel adjustment charge by my electrict company? Posted on July 06, 2011

I own a Home in the City. The monthly bill from the City includes also Electricity, but to the Electric Bill comes a Fuel Adjustment Bill. The usage Rate per Kw is 0.085 $. But with the Fuel Adjustment, the Rate is 0.129 $ for this Month. The City has a Contract with the Electric Company over ...Kw per Month. In the Summer Time the usage is higher. That's why they charge a Fuel Adjustment. Is that legal?
