Is it legal for me to be charged for an unsolicited service? Posted on July 18, 2011I received an unsolicited U-pass (transit card) from the University of Washington after signing up for a single unmatriculated class. Knowing the U-pass cost more then my use of the transit system I disposed of the mail without knowing I was suppose to send it back to avoid a charge. Can I be charged, like this, for services unsolicited?
