Is the business liable for my auto damage? Posted on June 23, 2011
Most business parking has those concrete wheel stops at end of a parking space. Autos not all but some being manufactured now days are low enough to ground which I found out recently those concrete wheel stops can cause damage under car like severely scraping underside of front bumper assembly and then hitting and bending radiator support bracket pushing radiator back toward engine before the front wheels even touch the concrete barrier wheel stop. Is the business liable for damages to my auto for having these devices? I have a 2007 PT Cruiser where I have had this happen and when talking to body shop at the dodge dealer they confirmed to me that yes this as I have described could very well happen not only to my car but many others being manufactured.
