Where in the US (would prefer in Georgia) can I handle things about inheritance when my dad was from Russia and was living there? I want to accept inheritance from my dad but under one condition, is it possible? My grandmother has the other part of the flat. I am not familiar with Russian law. Under general legal principles, if you are the owner you can allow anyone to rent or live in your property. You would need a Russian lawyer to handle the Probat in Russia. If the property is here and he died in Russia the Ga, law would apply.

You need an attorney in Russia, if he died in Russia. Or get one that knows about the law in Russia.
