In Ohio is it possible to get an OVI conviction if I was not in the car when police arrested me? 1 Answers as of March 21, 2011

I was charged with an OVI because I tapped a car, and the owner called the cops. When the police arrived to my house, I admitted to drinking hours before I hit the car. I was arrested, and blew a .09. I was not at my car when this happened. What will I be charged with?

It depends they might charge with the OVI or leaving the scene.
