I'm being charged with Section 1543 b am I looking at mandatory jail time? 1 Answers as of February 16, 2012
I received my DUI about 3 months ago and refused a blood test not noticing due to being under the influence. A month later I received a department of workforce services on a dui charge. I'm currently doing community service and I am being enrolled in alcohol program. I'm currently working and I have court tomorrow for this charge. I haven't been convicted on my dui charge yet. Am I automatically going to do jail time? I'm not a criminal, I have a drinking problem, jail won't resolve my drinking issue, I need alcohol help program, and I can't afford an attorney or public defender. What should I do? Can I get out of doing jail time in exchange for being put on an alcohol program?Free Case Evaluation by a Local Lawyer!
