If we get the car title notarized and signed will it hold up in court? 1 Answers as of November 29, 2011

My parents just got divorced and my dad wants to sign over the title of my car to my mom so I can stay on her insurance. We want to type up a letter, however, where my mother agrees that she won't take advantage of the title (take it from me, have it towed if we have a disagreement..etc.). Our question is if we get it signed and notarized by all three of us will it hold up in court if anything were to happen?
