Sure. A police report is hearsay, unless the officer was actually present to observe the accident. Officers typically don't write reports on private property collisions. Alabama is a contributory negligence state (one of the few left in the country) which means if a party's own negligence contributed to their own injuries, they cannot recover. Although this is the law, I do not know that juries apply it in every case. Every case really turns on its own facts.
