If in court and you can prove someone is lying, what can be done? Posted on March 18, 2011

I am in the middle of a custody battle. My x husband filed for full legal and physical custody of our 12 year old. I have had primary custody for 11 years. I have filed an emergency custody petition against my x husband because he has a history of violence and touching our daughter inappropriate. He lied in court and his attorney said he bought a house in our area to be close to our daughter when he is actually renting. He lied about many things however this is a lie I can prove. Is there anyting that can be done about this and is it ok for a lawyer to lie to the judge?
