If I was arrested for not going to court date because office told me no need because I finish my community service, how do I get my bond money back? 1 Answers as of March 03, 2017

I got arrested for not going to court date. I went to the court date and they stated I hadn't finished my community service. I had asked for more time. I finished them and then the probation officer called stated I got the hours done and no need to go to court. This was a traffic ticket in 2013.

Call the probation officer to testify that he advised you did not need to appear. In Indiana, bond is returned when the matter is resolved, unless you paid a bondsman 10%. That is non-refundable.
