If I leave the state with my children can I get into trouble? 2 Answers as of April 07, 2011
I am currently separated from my children's father. We were never married. I was given full custody of my 2 children and he was granted visitation. I currently reside in Mass and my family lives in Florida. If I leave the state with my children can I get into trouble?

You cannot leave the state without express permission from the father or a court order granting removal. I wrote a short article on this topic, which you can view on my website.
