No - not necessarily. It depends on the severity of the charge you have the warrant on and the state it's in. Different states handle these issues differently. Further, if you are in custody Serving time for a sentence, normally you will complete that time first before you are transferred.

The other state won't come and get you unless it's a felony. For misdemeanors, most states do not spend the time & money to come and get you from another state.
