I reside in Orange County, CA and have been placed on Prop.36 and formal probation. Is my P.O. still going to give me a drug test? or only random tests?

A person on the drug program outlined in prop 36 will be subject to drug tests. Depending on his probation rules this could be random or scheduled or both.

Yes, you could have regular tests, and random tests. The Court needs to know that you are staying in compliance, and making the proper progress.

That depends on the probation department, the terms of your program, and the judge's order. You can ask the probation department for an answer or take your order/terms to a criminal defense attorney who can explain it to you.

The PO will probably do whatever he or she is supposed to do in regard to the requirements of the program. Any other answer is rank speculation and an idiotic attempt to read some one's mind.

You could be asked to give drug tests randomly AND have scheduled drug tests. Your PO has the authority to conduct tests randomly or have them scheduled ahead of time.
