How can I fix my wife's CR1-visa refusal? 6 Answers as of February 01, 2012
I need help with my wife's CR1-visa refusal at the US Embassy. I called and emailed the US Embassy. I even contacted the congress and senate as well. The US Embassy said they are going to send my petition back to the USCIS. They said I am going to receive a Notice of Intent to revoke the letter in my mail. I need help with responding to the Notice of Intent to revoke the letter. It seems that they are looking for evidences to reaffirm my petition. What kind of documents do I need to prove to them that I have a true relationship with my wife? I am ready to do whatever it takes to make my petition reaffirm but need some guidance.Free Case Evaluation by a Local Lawyer!

When you get their denial, which takes months, you will need statements from witnesses or otherbproof of your true love relationship to overcome the denial.

Usually this happens when they suspect the bona-fides of the marriage. I would need details on exactly why they denied it and then information on the marriage itself.

This can be a very complex matter. Our office has seen more and more situation where the U.S. Embassy is refusing to issue the immigrant visa and sending the case back to the National Visa Center. You should receive a Notice of Intent to Revoke. This will give you the reasons why they believe the marriage is not bona fide. The type of documents you will need to rebut this Notice of Intent to Revoke will depend upon the reasons given. The evidence can include records of communication between you and your wife, photographs from time together, travel records, proof of financial support, etc.
