I got a DUI last week while on a business trip out of state. If I am from Missouri, what is going to happen to my license now? 2 Answers as of December 15, 2010

I was on a work related trip out of state a few days ago and I got charged with a DUI. What will happen to my drivers license from my home state?

Quite frankly, it depends on whether the state of the charges communicates with Missouri. Some states will communicate with each other regarding DUIs, others do not. Missouri may not find out. You can wait a while, then call Missouri Dept of Revenue and inquire about the status of your license. Or better yet, have an attorney do it so that you don't raise any red flags.
