I am 38 weeks pregnant. Is there anything I can do to help ensure that I get sole custody of my newborn daughter? Posted on January 19, 2011

I am most likely going to court over custody of my newborn daughter. The father drinks about 4 days a week and does take steroids. However, I can't prove it. Financially, I do earn more than him, though not by much until I am able to find a job to utilize my bachelor degree. I am able to provide much better living conditions that he can. I do have some text messages saved in my phone that he sent me referencing him doing drugs, although I know he does not do drugs. He does not want to go to court at all, but I know we will end up going. Is there anything that I can do to help make sure I am awarded sole custody?
