How will I support myself during our divorce? 1 Answers as of March 09, 2011

I am 21 years old and I am married to an active duty Marine, we have been married for around 2 and a half years. We got married in San Diego. I really would like to divorce him, but, I have no money and nowhere to go, and I have never really worked or had a job, and I am scared. My question is, will he have to pay me any kind of money, until I at least get on my own two feet? Also, who would get my dog and puppy? Would I get anything that we have, because he obviously paid for everything? Thank you.

Everything acquired during marriage is community property with a couple of exceptions. You would be entitled to spousal support. hire a family law attorney.
