How much jail time would I have to serve after turning myself in because of a warrant? 2 Answers as of August 10, 2015

I was put on doc probation about 3 years ago on an assault charge. After I got out of jail I moved to another state without my probation officers permission. I just got back to my home state today and want to turn myself in tomorrow to take care of this warrant. How much time do you think I am looking at? I haven’t been in any trouble since leaving.

You have the balance of the 3 years to serve in custody, especially with the violation of probation.

Without looking at the original sentencing order, your criminal history(if any, any prior convictions for similar offenses (if any), I have no way to answer; however, ultimately it will be up to the judge.
